Public trasportation is also avaialble:
Take the 'Riviera Bus' (runs hourly from Cancun, comfortable and Air conditioned) to Playa del Carmen directly from the Airport. From Playa del Carmen, you can take either a first- or second-class bus to the Tulum pueblo (about $3.50 USD. per person, two or more hours).
Alongside the Tulum pueblo bus station you will find a taxi stop, where you can take a cab directly to the hotel zone area where you will find your hotel along the beach.

* Pre Arranged Round Trip Transfers for 1-2 passengers - $170 – $250
Getting Back
* “Collectivo” Van transfers from Tulum to Playa del Carmen, and from Playa del Carmen To Cancun. They go both ways. These are little VW buses crammed with people. Very cheap, not much luggage space. (about $2 Dollars per person). These are organized by the union and have their own schedule, Please check in the Tulum Bus station for additional information.
